Bought one from a member on here, it was bad, no good and I installed it, car wont go into gear, bled the system and the pedal sticks just a little, just enough to notice it. Will the clutch pedal stick if it isnt completely bled? Or is it only sticking due to being bad? Would like to get one very low mileage or if someone has a new one laying around for less than new price at parts store.

adjusted? i know that I have to bleed the slave assembly some more but not sure if sticking has to do with it not being bled all the way. i know if i put it in reverse and try to start the car wants to go backwards as im starting it.

Matter of fact, can you give us in detail the method you use to bleed the system? There's several wrong ways to do it and 2 correct ways.

i get someone to pump the pedal like when bleeding brakes and and hold it down and i loosen the bleeder on the slave and let the air/pressure/fluid out then tighten it back up and they let off the pedal again. repeating the process as you do on brakes. Is this wrong?

Yes sir it is. Pumping the peddle creates tinier air bubbles that get harder to get out of the system. The person above me described one of the 2 correct ways to bleed the LS1 hydraulics.

i just put in a new slave cylinder. Once I got the tranny bolted up I realize that there is not enough room to disconnect the braided cable from the slave if I want to change my current MC to a tick. There is not enough room to pull the clip out to release the cable. Is there an extension of some kind that can be used between the slave and the braided cable? I was also thinking about cutting the opening around the slave disconnect area to allow room. Need suggestions.
