I just emptied the gas tank and changed the oil on an old car I have sitting around that I am trying to fix up. It's been so long since I've had to dispose of old gas and oil that I don't even know where to take it. Where can I get rid of this stuff near New Braunfels or San Marcos? Will an oil change shop get rid of it for a fee?

places like autozone will take the used oil. they 'say' they ONLY take oil, and no anti-freeze, etc... but depending on how much you have kinda determines if you can mix it in or not.
i didnt have a pickup truck, so i kept storing my used oil and such in a few 5gal buckets and some laundry detergent containers, etc... i finally borrowed a pickup truck from someone, and i walked into Auto Zone with at least 20 gallons of used fluids. they lookat me pretty weird, but let me do it with no problems. i had maybe 5 gallons of antifreeze in there from when i did a coolant flush.

I've got about 3 gallons of gas. I don't think I even want it in my lawnmower, it was that bad.
I didn't even think about taking the oil to a parts store. Thanks guys.

For the gas - you should call a few small auto shops that might do tank flush and fuel pump work - they might be able to take it or point you in the right direction.
Like others have said - I always take my old gas and filter it with a used undershirt or towel and then cut it with clean gas and put it into Hondas and lawn equipment.
