Thanks for all the help with the car Steven. Not enough time to explain how far above and beyond all of you went in helping me get the car back out on the street. I laid down two passes saturday, and the car ran great!

Funny thing is with the bright sunny day, the custom paint seemed to get the most attention LOL!

No its not stock shortblock. The boost has been turned down significantly to get it down to 12lbs.

Oh ok. I was like, 12 lbs. on a stock shortblock, don't expect it to live very long.

Nice Larry!

"Hey. You wanna go for a ride?!" "Of course!" I'll never forget blowing the tires off from a roll that night. Good times...

The car must get up and go quite a bit better now. I can only imagine what the pull must be like. Did you ever get your boost gauge to reset?

Let me know when you want me to come clean her up for you

It will live as long as the tune is right, if not it won't last a week.

I've never known anyone to run 12 lbs. on a stock shortblock, 10 was the max. I'm at 8 lbs. and sticking to it. Honestly, with 12 lbs. I figured it would be more than 600 rwhp.

I'm just saying. Let me rephrase that, I've never ready/known anyone to run anymore than 10 lbs. of boost on a stock longblock. I'm not saying it hasn't been done, but from what I've read, anything over 10 and you're asking for trouble.

Damn I put a procharger on a car with the EXACT same paint job and wheels! If I remember correctly the owner had the same name too....Small world... I didn't put a motor in it though....

many have run more than 10 lbs, just gotta fatten up the tune and run conservative timing. methanol helps but the ringlands are the weakest link and you're just living on borrowed time till they go.

does the vette have a converter in it?
