Gonna head to Rusk this Sunday the 16th if anyone wants to come out for test and tune. I know for sure there is a couple T/A's and a camaro and my camaro, a few cobalt ss's and some others. Should be alot of fun and the high is going to be around 65, so the weather is going to be perfect. If anyone wants to come with us just let me know. I'm not exactly sure on the time or place for us to meet, but it will most likely be the target on Broadway around 12 or so. Track opens at 1 and starts running at 1:30 and closes around 5. Hope to see some ya'll come out.

 

Do you drive the Red SS that I see on the UT campus all the time?

We might bring the Camaro out for a shake down run on the new tune, and the BMW will make a pass while we're at it.

Yeah I have two cut-outs... It's the y-pipe from QTP with the cut-outs built in. Should be a decent amount of people going, so I guess I'll see ya'll up there tomorrow.

 

Ended up being a pretty decent turn out. I got a new P/B with a 12.997 right off the bat on the stock tune. Then we leaned it out up top and advanced the timing and I got two 12.8xx's. The weather was perfect and I think almost everyone I was with set a P/B.

 

I really needed to run the Camaro, but its without a hood at the moment...

 

They are going to be open every Sunday now for awhile, so I'm sure we will be going again sometime soon.

 

Pinevalley Raceway (Diboll) is open for test n tune every Saturday if that fits anyones schedule better than Sunday.

 

Never been there how far away from Tyler is it? I'm down as long as there is a good turn-out.

I want to see that 11 second run......before the end of the year..

How much longer is Rusk open for?

 

I was told they closed like a month ago, also heard they close in three weeks...

So they probably closed today.

Pinevalley Raceway will be open every Saturday and Rusk will be open every
Sunday until further notice as long as the weather holds out.

Rusty- I think I have the answer to my problem, just haven't had time to get back to the track with it......

 

Do they have any car meets on the weekend in Tyler? Might be interested in takin a road trip to one.
