Have you been passed by Benz lately?? Who was the Silver Ls1 T/A at HRP last friday night in this video? He even was given the move..

pretty expensive to keep going though. I did a cylinder head on one about a month ago and cost the guy about ten grand worth of work. the amg's are actually significantly more reliable then the non amg cars.

So did they kick you off the track? No roll cage? Saw your car run and it was flying! Looked like a nice 10 second run,, and then it was like blue ***** when you hit the brakes..

The Porsche went an 11.44 @ 132 letting off when the car was realistically at about 134 or 135 because my oil pressure sending unit is all sorts of screwed up and it went to 0 and I freaked (and of course soon as I let out it went back up to normal, by the time I got back onto it I crossed the traps). I got asked to leave because I did not have a fire jacket. They said now for 11.00 -> 11.49 you need a fire jacket and a helmet.. And 10.99 and under you need a 6 point cage. I know it has a easy 10sec pass if I can just figure out the launch for the car. I went a 1.72 60ft on my stock turbos, but the GT3076/K24 hybrids made the car a whole different animal (aka lots of lag). It's been a 135.7 on a warmer night so I could imagine it would have been a 136 or 137mph pass on my last pass.
You should bring the 55 to the 60-130 event and see how she does. It is happening this Saturday at Sealy's Lonestar Motorsport Park. It's always a fun event to attend with some VERY fast Supras, LS1s, Porsches, etc..
