Anybody want to do a cruise down to austin from DFW, or to the houston area? I think it would fun if we all got togeter this spring and go for a drive! Let us know what your Ideas are and thoughts and maybe just maybe we can get something together for a spring/summer cruise. I mean it's just a thought lets see if we can make it happen?

too bad we couldnt tow the cars behind for that.

But that would be fun, get a big cruise going with all the DFW guys cruising down to houston, then hang for the night for some GTG'ers........ and fun...

I wanted to try to plan something early so everyone can be off or take off for the event maybe we can get the surronding towns to also meet up ( like me I live a couple of hours away).

I think we need someone to get this planning... Then we can get this post updated with all relevant information that will be needed to get this going and done...

It would be a hell of a site to have a **** load of camaros and muscle cars on the road heading south down there...

Also we could try and get the waco guys involved also, since we will be passing thru there on the way down.. And whatever other cities are on the drive.....

that would be bad ***. i know my trip from houston -amarillo-new mexico in the camaro was a blast! i-40 rt 66 was probably one of the most interesting roads ive driven.

Okay this is what I was thinking leave from DFW on a Friday morning and drive to Houston. Meet up with the members there hang out enjoy the night life etc... stay the night there wake up drive to austin? corpus? S.A? and spend the night there. Repeat what we did in houston and then sunday drive back to DFW. Do yall wanna do a 3 or 4 day weekend i'd like this to do a long weekend trip. I just need ideas post of pm them if you wanna help me plan this let me know I think ex-ss-ve and Quinkblade are very intrested. Hopefully they will help me plan this..........

I know they do some really big meets in houston...
We should get the S/A and that area guys to do what DFW guys are and drive up to houston..
Then we can have a really big shin dig in houston with mad amounts of vettes/camaros...

This would be sweet! I'm about to finish my 68' and a friend is a bout to finish an 85 swb lsx powered. would be nice to show them off a bit. I'm pretty sure he'd be down to go. ROAD TRIP!!!

So lets get someone who can keep on top of this..
Since if we do get a **** load of peeps... Then we can get all the other cities all together over there...

Maybe get a ls1tech car show going out there..

Also if we know the amount before hand... We could get in touch with some hotels out there and talk with management about a deal..
especially if everyone plans on staying the weekend in Houston, get someone to get us a hook up so that being we bring 40 peeps all staying at that hotel, we get a good discount.. Just an idea..

But I would love to have a hot sunny day out there and get out by the docks/bay to get some good photos....

If this actually went through, I would be there for sure. Cruises are always fun, but 3 of the biggest cities in Texas cruising together would be amazing. This needs to be planned way ahead of time as stated before.
