Down in Crandall (south of Forney / east of Dallas off of US-175)...finally set to open (please, please) in April. Per its schedule, it's like when are they NOT open for test & tune.

It's 3900 feet of all concrete, even the long shutdown (Motorplex is asphalt for the shutdown, but, that really doesn't matter). It's also 60' wide. Cool! Wonder how Redline, etc. will fare if they run this place well...

Looks like Easter week in April (Thursday thr. Sunday) to try to start getting rubber down. Hopefully, it will be smooth and not bumpy nor need grinding.

Same here. Redline doesn't have a tech on "Fun & Grudge Nights". But, by the time the Camaro gets moving, I'm already on the brakes. 1/8-mile sucks.

I am ready to go on this..

My buddy lives right there and says that he has been hearing alot of cars over there.
He thinks they are getting set up and running cars on the track checking the track over.

Even for the cars that want to run only the 1/8th-mile for testing, Crandall would be much better than Redline, etc. as it will be much wider, has concrete retaining walls vs. steel guardrails, and, obviously, a MUCH longer shutdown. I enjoy Redline, but, facts are facts.
