If I were starting an internship for one of the Big Four (PWC, Deloitte, etc.) when would I get tested?

Yes, I've quit smoking. College is over and I'm ready to hit the cubicle. I've already done a dry run with the kind at CVS and it came out a faded indecisive line.... sorta pass, maybe fail.

u get drug tested before you get hired at most jobs i know of that are worth a ****, its not mcdonalds. if u havnt cheifed in at least 3-4 weeks i would say you are ok but everyone is different

cramberry juice and water, drink that and nothing BUT that for about a week and you will be straight. Or they sell pills that you take with 24oz of water ,2 hours before your test and BAM!! you pass (but you can't eat all day)

That made spit my drink on my laptop screen, when I got hired on for a fortune 500 company I got the hair test, i dont smoke or anything so I passed but i do have the liver of a 60 year old.

Yes, they will probably have some kind of company that they outsource the drug tests too. More than likely it will be a **** test, but if they really are big, I would not be surprised with a hair test.

Interns get the same thing, because as an intern, you are the best candidate to be a future employee.

Needless to say, some weed is not worth your career. That is for sure. (Although, I honestly have no opinions against the stuff. It has never bothered me when many of my friends have used before.)

Lots of bigger companies do hair tests. The company I work for does. They did random hair tests a few years back but have since gone back to **** tests b/c of cost I guess. This is an oilfield service company.

If you have smoked everyday prior to stopping you might need up to 3 months before you **** clean. Those CVS tests are trash. When they have you go to a lab and break it down to nanograms your gonna be screwed. Get a sweat suit and drink a **** load of cranberry juice. Don't trust any cleanser, they will fail you..

My friends pass our school drug testing and they can smoke the day before. We have very good drug tests through the school district and they still pass. Just drink lots of water and cranberry juice. Also you could by detox pills at GNC. You should be fine just the way you are but it doesnt hurt to do the extra stuff just to make sure.

The leaner you are (body fat) the less your body will hold THC. Drink a gallon of water and no alcohol for a couple of days and you will be fine if you arent a fat ***. THC is a fat soluble drug.

Man if your willing to take this chance over a job that's all you. Drug test do not detect THC. They detect chemicals that break THC down. Which means if your body is breaking down THC then there will be chemicals doing this, that's what they detect.

With that being said, if I hadn't smoked in 5 years and I had a drug test today, I could smoke in the morning and pass the test. Or up to 24 hours prior to the test. Just as long as I hadn't in a while.

It deffinately has to do with body fat. If you are 6'5'' and 160lbs then your better off. If your like 6'3'' 245 lbs like I was 2 years ago when I failed a test then your screwed. I had smoked for a while. Thinking I could get away with it. I took all the **** they sell. I stopped smokeing for a month, and still failed the lab test. The bullshit test they give in schools and over the counter aren't ****. If they send it to the lab you WILL fail. The over the counter test only detect 50 nanograms or high, in most cases they only pick up 100 nanograms or higher.

The lab picks up 10 nanograms..and you fail if you have more then 20 nanograms..

After I failed mine for a 30$/hr drug test 2 years ago I quit for good, it's not worth it..

yea I've quit already. Running numbers is kinda hard stoned hahaha.

I guess the more important question is how long I would have between them telling me I have a test and a doc handing me a cup. If it comes down to it, I'll just tell them when I smoked last and ask for a couple weeks.

I have been smoke free for years but back in the day I went to Austin to visit friends, wound up at a party, played cards, drank, etc etc. Its funny I can't seem to go in and out of Austin without getting severely impaired. Anyway, the following Monday my company gave me a surprise drug test. I was
