Default Houston Tx + Geico insurance?

Having just recently moved to the Katy area, we(wife and I) are looking for quotes on our auto insurance. Now, I figured our rates would go up since we lived out in the middle of no where AZ, but I didn't expect them to double. I am currently getting quotes from other companies and Geico is by far the cheapest.

My question for the people who have Geico are:
1. Have you been treated well IF you had to file a claim.(good/bad/ugly)
2. Did they give you a 'teaser' rate to get you to switch and then up your premiums?
3. Have they raised your premiums for no reason whatsoever?

Thanks in advance.

Answer to your questions:

#1 -
your in luck! i run the office at CSI Express wich works with Geico as a direct repair facility. We are located at 5114 Hwy 6 N.

We are known for our great customer service and currently hold the number one
spot ( in the nation ) for Geico Auto direct repair cycle time..
We average about a .7 to 1 day repair time

i too have geico insurance on my 02 TA . to me its a fair price.

i hope this helps with ur decision . if u have any questions let me know.

#2 - they never gave me a teaser rate. even when i had statefarm i always received the rate i was told

#3 - ive had geico for a while now and never had my premium go up without a reason.

I've been with Geico for 5 + years.
Right now I have 4 cars insured through them (in Harris County), never had not one problem.
Over the 5 years my rate has only gone up slightly.
I have to rate their customer service A+++.

I have geico, just got them a year ago because I had a minor minor accident and progressive sent my rates through the roof for a 900 dollar claim so don't bother with them. I got a lot of quotes and geico was the cheapest by far. So far everything is good and they have great service, and no teaser rates that I know of. I have excactly the same rate now as I did when I first signed up!

++1 for Geico. Never gone up on my premiums even after a couple of minor claims. Got in a hail storm a month ago, called, made the claim. The NEXT DAY, they got me in for an estimate and I received the check 2 business days later.no ****. Paid me $4200. My room mate has a truck identical to mine and it was in the same hail storm with exact same damage. Progressive paid $1350. Geico is by far the best insurance company ive ever dealt with.
