Oh there's almost always 1 or 2 people with the "I was only doing 80 in the rain and, OMG I can't believe it got away from me and I hit a wall." posts.

Fortunately for me I work from home so everyday is a free day from work! Or at least having to actually GO to work!

yea seems like anytime it floods every ******* idiot with a small car thinks they have a boat and that is perfect enough reason to start cruising flooded roads.

Bastards in little cars just get in my way. I flooded out a minivan last week when we got all the rain on the southside. The dumbass didn't slow down when the water covered the road and curb and tried to stay beside me. I bet he was in line for at least a new air filter after that puddle, I covered his whole car with a wave as we hit the water at 45mph.

I haven't made it to work yet. Not sure if I'm going to try and go or not seeing as all 3 streets that I can turn on from my culdesac are flooded.

exactly. they usually end up killing the car in the middle of the road blocking the way for you to get where you have to be. when the flooding happens which it has these last few weeks i just stay home. unless i have to get to work. was supposed to go in fri nite. tried to leave and every main road leading out of my neighborhood was blocked completely by some sort of flooded out small car/van. had to call in on that one!!
