Your ignorance amazes me, I guess LS motors are the only ones that can make power. Keep living in your fantasy world where everyones retarded and cant build motors right.

Build your car right.

my cuzins 77 camaro has a 305 with a ******* big *** cam heads, headers, TDs everything
and hes pushing 300+

and 200bhp seems kinda low, what kind of exhaust setup do you have? come to think about it.. in 78 could you even get a 350 from the factory? Are you sure you don't have a 305?
you dont know what we are talking about?

a simple exhaust/intake ls1 will do that and get WAY better MPG and drive MUCH nicer..

nobody in this thread can honestly say you can make as much horsepower/make as fast with a 350/305 or whatever else you want to throw in there as an ls1 for as cheap/easy as it is... the ls1 is BY FAR a superior platform.. no IFs ANDs or BUTs... this is a fact, not opinion..
can you make the others fast? can you make a lot of horsepower? hell yea you can...
but the truth of the matter is is that it is a LOT easier to do it with an ls1 than any of the previously mentioned..

if you dont know/believe that you are either ignorant stupid or naive..

"just my .02"...

Lemons12, we have all come to the understanding that the LS1 is much easyer to do for the power he wants. But as he has said he wants to keep his factory motor, witch on a car like that is understandable.

Calm down children. We have a slew of this topic in the SBC/BBC section, it gets old.

OP, next time you need info on your build questions, post them here:
