im sure this has been asked before, but im looking for a decent place to take my car and have a cutout installed. i havent gotten the cutout yet but if the install is cheap enough ill probably order one up and have it put in. (i dont feel like installing it myself) and this is for a manual cutout. i figured id try the manual and if i always leave it open then there is no need to an electric one.

In TX there are tons of "imigrant" run exhaust shops that will do it. Wave a $20 bill in front of the installer and he'll probably put next in line. It's 2 cuts and 2 welds so don't pay much more than that.

I paid $45 to have mine welded on at a local shop here in SA. It was one of the few places that knew what a cutout was AND would install it. Yes, you would be surprised at some places.

Yep, that's the most I'll pay. Had a couple welded on and they were all $20. A minute with the sawzall and a few minutes worth of welding..nothing to it. I am going to cut my cats off my Dodge and gut them and have to have them welded back on unless I can find some clamps that'll work for the time being.
