so he's scared to buy one cause he knows theyre gonna make a better one soon???
at this rate, he'll never buy a new corvette. THEY ARE ALWAYS GONNA MAKE A BETTER ONE!
ALWAYS!!!
he should just lease one and when a better one comes out, he can change it

based on the information in this video the 6.2 ltr block was used for the thickness of the cylinder walls. This does not prove that the LS3 is better than the LS7. It just shows that GM thinks it will hold better against boost.

For the 4th time in this thread. . .

What makes the LS3 better than the LS7?

My head hurts really bad after reading threw this thread.......

Anyone that say's an LS3 is more saught after because you can mod if more then a LS9 ummm DUH! LS9 is forged and has a power adder....... it allready has mods..... but why not get a mustang and say you want a regular GT motor so you can mod it more... no need for a forged blower cobra motor...

Every motor has its strenghtes and weaknesses....

Go and mod a LS3 over an LS7 if you want but when it comes to the car itself the Z06 is superior..., if you are just wanting to drag race then I don't know why you would want to spend the extra cash for a Z06. Any idiot can mod a motor and blow it up......... there are guys or at least one that put the bottle on his LS7 Z06 not knowing it comes with platnum plugs and blew the thing up to moon................

Tony, PLEAS PLEASE take this thread and put it in your toilet, take a picture of it after you take a dump on it, then put some 110 octane into the bowl, light it on fire, and take another picture and post it here....

Tell your Daddy to drive an C6 z06 and he'll probably **** his pants. If he wants more power he'll need a zr1, but expect a 130k price tag. A current ls7 z06 is more than enough.

Last time I checked there wasn't a z06 in 05.

He could always look at a c6.r, but I heard the suspension is a little harsh.

What would be cool when they do redesign the ls motor for the Vette, they would make it a flat eight like the Porche, and give it direct injection. That would be pretty sick for handling and performance.
