Anyone know of anywhere I can dispose of hazardous waste? Specifically bad gas. I need to drain the tank and don't really want to do so until I have a place to get rid of what I pull out.
...or anyone need about 10 gallons of gas for a bonfire?

It is considered household hazardous waste and can be disposed of like any other household chemical. If you're going to burn it then you aren't worrying about pollution so why not trash it? You could also just leave it outside and let it evaporate.
If you don't want to do that, you can contact your city and see when/if they have a haz waste day. Some do every few months, some don't.
Another route would be to use it in lawn equipment...depending on why it is "bad." You could always mix if with fresh gas and use it. Carbed lawnmowers aren't a touchy about bad gas as FI cars.
You can mix it with used oil a little at a time and take it to Autozone/OReily's and dispose of it. They really want just oil, but what they don't know....
Got any fireant beds? Gasoline is an old school ant killer.
If you know a shop they can use it in their parts cleaner.
You can also call a company like Safety Kleen to pick it up. $$$$

Burn it, or just half and half it with your autozone return oil. They usually just open the tank and walk away as you pour anyways. If its just old gas, run it in your lawn mower or something.

O yeah, if anybody in the Houston area has something I can borrow to put the bad gas into for the time being I'd appreciate it. The 5gal jugs from HD are cheap, I just wont have a use for them afterwards.
