Default Welp Motor took a dump..

had a couple of rocker arms come apart a few months back, and deposited some needle bearings into the motor..
was hoping it would have escaped any damage, but that didnt happen.
lost the bearings, lifters, cam, and crank.. Valves also slapped the pistons when the lifters bled down.
basically everything in the motor is trashed...

It's over at HKE right now..
Going to bump it up a little
Forged 416..
hoping to put out some decent numbers
G-force is putting it back in...
now... I just have to wait for about 3 weeks to get it back....

Yes. Its the motor out of the 2010.
Had some problems after a cam swap.
Wound up breaking a couple of rocker arms, and had a couple of rocker arm trunions come apart dumping needle bearings into the motor. Looks like the needle bearings, and possibly a few pieces of rocker arm. Chewed up the crank, cam etc. Only thing that looks to be salvageable are the block, valve springs, and throttle body.
Looks to be the price I will pay to play.

This happened to a buddy of mine in his 408. Needle bearings are the devil. Think thunder has a kit to upgrade the stock rockers.

Is that a problem with all LS motors, or just the newer ones?
