So, I am graduating from Texas A&M May 14th. I'm going to work in the Galleria area on San Felipe. My parents live in Kingwood, but that is a ridiculous commute and I really don't want to live with them.
Is anyone looking for someone to live with or even get a house? I'm looking to save some money by having a roommate or two and I'd like a garage since I'll probably be buying a new car also. I'm open to looking into other areas than the Galleria, but closer is better for me.
Just a little about myself... I'm 24 and a car nerd like most people on this forum. My degree is in Petroleum Engineering. I feel like I'm easy to get along with. Like to keep things clean for the most part. I have a well-behaved black lab. Like enjoying a beer or ten on weekends lol
Even any suggestions on where to live in the area would be helpful.
Thanks in advance,
Mattko

Well, I didn't really say "cheap", I said I wanted to save money by having a roommate.
I haven't visited them personally, but I've seen some in the ~$900 range that look pretty nice on craigslist and realtor sites.
Just kinda wondering if anyone had any personal experience with the area and knew a "reasonably" priced nice place to live.

There's a few neighborhoods on Richmond that might have some houses for rent, but for the most part anything half a mile from the Galleria is ghetto. I know cause I live a couple miles from the Galleria on Richmond.
