Guy murdered in The Colony, woman in Lewisville (details graphic) Did anyone else hear about this? It happened at a place called Cafe Gecko at about 8pm last night. This is what I know.
There was a 57 year old man sitting at the bar at this place and this young guy (26) kept talking to him but the older guy didn't really respond to the young guy. After a few attempts at talking with him the young guy left for a couple hours. He came back and the 57 year old was still there at the bar. The young guy came up to him and stabbed him in the neck with a knife and then from there he slit the guys throat and then ran. While the guy was on the ground bleeding several good Texans chased after the guy and subdued him while a woman called the police. They held him down until the cops showed up. The 57 year old died. So far the cop my buddy spoke with said that it seems like it was a random killing.
Also a man murdered his wife in Lewisville. From what I've heard he cut her head off with a chainsaw and is now on the run.
It's crazy though because you always hear about things like this but then when it's in your city it's even more crazy. All the more reason to always be aware of your surroundings and when someone is in close proximity keep your eyes and ears peeled.
