Default what happen to MTI

hey guys sorry ive been out the game awhile but fixen to get back into it just wondering what happen to mti and whos some of the better shops in houston area. thanks

those closed a long time ago. definitely look into G-FORCE or LMR.

they stopped the speed shop thing a while ago. then started selling cars. then went completely out of business. atleast thats my understanding

They're out of the game. However, Late Model Racecraft and G-Force are top notch.

A bunch of MTI's stuff got sold to Icon Autosports, although i tried to deal with them once and Mike was about as useless as a damn brick. If theyre not out of business yet id be very surprised

Back when they posted my buddys c6 for sale, I got a Mti clear lid, Panhard bar and tranny cooler all for $100

man so no one knows the exact reason thats cool though i know wormboy and i dont know but if thats the same josh that worked at mti then he did alot of work to my old camaro ss. So when my project takes off ill be more than likely going with them guys especially since pecos is there outsource doesnt get better than him. thanks for the info though guys.

I don't know why everyone hates on MTI. They use to be the TOP shop in Houston. They did more LS1 R&D than ANY shop in town has. Hell most of the top shops had mechanics that started there and learned the ropes there.

I miss going to hang out at MTI and harassing Jayson. My favorite quote ever while I was there "This year we are going to make money off of the Powell brothers, instead of losing it!" It did help that one of my best friends was the head tech there during the last year of them being open.
