Well now would be a great time to get back in it. And i guess i left out the important stuff.

Games are Saturday nights ranging from 4pm-11pm. Cost is $225 for 12 games plus playoffs, and 3 practices. The $225 can be split up in 2 payments. Full gear is required.

You just have to make sure you are registered with USA hockey, make sure all your rink paper work is filled out, then let us know what games you can make it to, pay $20 before you hit the ice, and that's it.

Man...that sounds fun I haven't played since high school. That's the rink off precinct line? I need to find my hockey stuff first, I think it might be at my parents house in west texas lol. Got a site I can browse through today?

Helmet rules don't matter as long as you have one. I wear a visor. Some facial protection is highly reccomended though. This is a non checking league, however alot of "incidental checking" happens. It's fun as hell, and it does get chippy with other teams out there often. Nytex.com is the site to check out, and yes it's the one off precint line across from birdville hs. If you need gear I can get you in contact with a buddy of mine that works at Peranis. It would be fun to have you guys play.

i havent played since college, so i'm a little rusty, but i'm not really a 'D' player. obviously not going to be as good as i was, but dont think it would really be appropriate for me to play in a D league.

You can play down. One of my friends that subs for us is a c leaguer and nobody can tell. And you can use it as a getting your feet back under you season.

Never heard of these "D" and "C" league classifications. I looked at the site and it spoke about bronze silver and gold. I'd probably be able to play at gold after a couple of silver seasons but I'd be more comfortable at silver. Are each of those classifications broken down further in to a through d or something?

PS. I'll check on the gear thing later today and get back to you. I'm sure it might be here in FW at my mom's house.

Well, Gold is top level players obviously. Silver is lower C down to D, and Bronze is lower D to beginner.

Our first practice is this Saturday night at 9:45. We have 2 jerseys. Our dark jersey is $85 which includes socks, our whites which are kind of optional are $70 with socks. There are only a few spots left, so you guys let me know asap. Thanks

Should be able to. As long as i've been playing its rare to have the whole team every game, much less two weeks in a row.
