Default anybody been to south padre lately?

me, my girl, and a few friends are planning a trip to s padre island at the end of this month but im not sure how the beaches are going to look with this oil and what not. is there anybody by there or someone that can tell me how its looking down there? thanks fellas

I know someone there right now and they were headed to the beach so I guess its all good lol

I think your safe from the oil. The oil slick will probably stay to the east side of the gulf. I doubt texas will see any of it unless we get a hurricane.

I'm down in Brownsville 15 min from SPI no oil what so ever !!!!!!!
come on down fishing is getting good !!!!!!!!

It is just amazing how everyine thinks the coast from florida all the way to mexico is covered with oil!!! Dont get me wrong the spill is bad but.... it would take a hell of a lot to cover that much. BP is actually doing a good job of keeping everything clean.

Oil has not touched texas. The Gulf stream is pushing it from Louisiana East.

i go every weekend
and the its still great
the temp right now is right around 95-100
and the water is great...
havent seen any oil!

honestly all the restaurants on the island are great
some are more pricy than others
but i personally been to each one
and there all good

Theres a water park Schlitterbahn
currently lifeguard there
Great place to spend a day
lots of ladies
i think you can ride horses on the beach
i know theres tons of things 2 do but i cant remember them
right now
rent out jet skies
bungie jumping
get drunk
camp out on the beach
im pretty young so y idea of fun might be a bit different from yours

i miss that place. once spent an entire 30 days on the island with my dad. it was awesome! There is a pink strip club on the island...i painted lol i was 16, good times.
Skim boarding on bayside...fireworks every friday! do they still do that in the summer?

the TIKI HUT has AWESOME FOOD on the beach its a tiki hut by mars-venus

theres a italian rest. as soon as you get onto main street in SP on the south side i forget name you can find it SP is small its close to Dennys

and psychdeli has amazing food as well those are top three a couple of good mexican places there but i would def go to TIKI HUT/BAR the food is best freid shrimp and burgers plus bar with band and volleyball right in front with plenty texas women

It would be really sweet if we can plan a texas meet in south padre i know a guy out there who has **** load of ferraris, z's and f-bodys with a huge beach house out there would anyone be intereseted?

hit up the padre island brewing and dirty als... go to wanna wannas during the day,, its like spring break every wknd there and some good food and a bar... and lots of eye candy
