There were several factors. I'll only speak for myself. I didn't care for my car being driven from the shop in NRH to his home in Rockwall w/out my knowleg. I had dropped it off and didn't even want to be driving it due to a leaking rear axel seal. Then finding out that he took my car home for the weekend w/out the seal being fixed after the fact and most likely only because he was apparently ******* on my new engine (in 2 years since its only thrown the belt once and that was while racing) and threw the belt overheating said new engine, then telling XHP to charge me for the belt which I refused to do and sent them back Gilbert's way. Then he charges me $300 to change a seal in a 9" which I'm sure was to recoup the tow fee. To top it off, I pick my car up and it was on 1/8th tank when it had a half tank when I brought it in. He didn't even return it to the same fill level after the joy ride.

Oh Ok. Damn we got 2 Bucks in LS/M now? LOL. I didnt know Gilbert did that to you man. Thats fuct up. I myself have been shafted by a shop and that **** puts a disgust taste in your mouth. But hey what goes around comes around and they do not last long in business as it was shown. Hell i have been ripped off 3500 dollars by one shop. I would recommend Nitrous Outlet and TDP to anybody though. I miss being able to come to the meets on Thursdays but my job has me outta town. Any of these LS/m guys are good people. I like being around them cuz its not about whos car is the fastest or who has the biggest weiner bullshit like you got at all the other gay meets (cough, cough, Sonic meet in Arlington, cough) plus the meets are kept under control so there isnt any ricer idiots doin burnouts in the parking lots or pullin guns on me
. I know Zach was a lil strange sometimes but deep down he was a good guy as another combat veteran I will take care of my own. Hell Shannon followed me all the way home when I spun a rod bearing and knicked the cam on my old motor on the jug. All these LS/m guys would give their shirt off their back to help you out. Thats why I am the proud 1st member I just wish I could donate more time.

Ya Bo, we have 2 Bucks now. Pun not intended. Actually Buck is workin on a Sat meet. Hopefully we'll have a location nailed down before long. Sat nights are tricky if you want a place to eat because everyone else does too.

Dammit boy!! Sounds like a priest needs to bless all that water in them water trucks you drive around and turn the pump on and point the hose at you man. I have always wanted to do that to somebody.

uh oh i found a 98 LS1 T/A for 1k but it has an LT1 ws6 front end and no motor and trans (guy didnt a front end swap if he still has it its mine! lol
