Default 99 camaro ss price check

Have an oppertunity for a friend to pick up a 1999 camaro ss with 56k miles. Auto. Has a cam which was just put in, 3400 stall, rebuilt rear with 373s. Good condition. 10k cash, is it worth it?

**** i'll sell him mine for that price. Brand new ls6 crate motor with either 49K miles or 2 years left on the warranty, new rear, cartek clutch, built t56, nearly flawless interior, TT2's. All for 3K more. All work done by g-force.

I'd say that's a decent deal considering the mods and low miles. As long as the mods were done by a professional, and not in some guy's garage.

About 3 Years ago I paid $10k for my 99 WS6 which had 75,000 miles and was stock except for a K&N filter, chrome 18" Z06 wheels with nittos, and an slp muffler.

$3,000.. That seems to be what everyone thinks my SS is worth..

It's a decent deal I guess. I am not even sure anymore after having my SS.

i personally would not pay 10K for a 11 year old car with a cam in it... i dont like to buy cars that the previous owner modded, thats just my personal opinion... i would be willing to pay around 8500 max prob... i paid 10K for mine 1 yr ago with 80K and it's a 02... mods dont bring the value of a car up, it decreases it, in my book. just my opinion though.

i agree. usually means the car had the **** raced out of it by some 16 year old punk. chances are the work is shabby and the engines about to blow up

Nope, just a normal SS with 88k miles. I might make a thread about all the bullshit run ins I have had with people. Apparently waxing the car, a drivers seat cover and a carpet shampoo costs $3,000 in work for one guy haha. ******* dumb ***, then he tells me it's not a real SS so I got up and left.

Mines the one for $6,900 in the for sale section.
