Anyway I would go with a 224/224 or something like that. Those heads will choke the **** out of a bigger cam so I wouldn't go for anything really bigger than a 230 or so. Now if you would wait and go for some heads save up and get some tfs 215s and a fast plus a ms4 or something of that size. Now that would be extremely quick. Plus since you like working on cars why would you not want to change down the road. That's where all the fun is.
AFR 205...no need for 215's really. plus they are cheaper.

eventually i will have a set with a big custom grind and a FAST. pretty much gonna copy pat g's car minus the fly cut pistons.

agree, however a tfs 215 gives you room to grow, they work well on stroker motors we have hem on a 402 ad they make great power.

Yeah the tfs are nice, but they are crazy expensive. I never really new much about the afs 205s...I have never looked at how they flow.

243s and a custom cam to match. Best bang for the buck. Don't buy a cam that you have to flycut too.

Lol I know you guys are just messing with each other. This isn't like Racers Lounge where everyone is at each others throat.

And 00fastta I just hate putting so much money into this car know I will never make it back, I figure $1000 for a cam swap isn't too big of a deal. I would just put a heads/cam LS1 T56 into the 70 but I am scared I am going to end up with a car that has no motor/trans because it will never get done. Already found a doner car and everything.
