Default Need Help Im Looking To Buy The Go Pro HD Motorsports HERO!

What Do You Guys Think? Is it really worth the 299.00 Or could I rig up or find something better?

Yeah the picture quality looks amazing and I hear they are very tough. Seems im gonna be getting one.

yea those look pretty sweet i intended on ordering one but never got around to it...i searched youtube to see some car runs filmed by these but didnt have much success...i saw one video that i thought was filmed by one, it was flacos race up against that c6 where flaco gets pulled over...anyone know if that was with the go pro hd...been a while since ive seen the video

I got a GP prior to the HD version being released.

My only issue is the audio quality, no external mic input and no remote control.

The kit comes with a case and multple mounts and spindles, allowing to be mounted in just about any orientation. You can even mount it upside down and select the "Inverted" mode and it looks great.

I'm had the suction cup mount on slightly curved surfaces, like the roof of my F-Car or CTS-V and the hood of a C5 chase car. Not a problem, even at triple digit speeds.

There are some codec issues in early versions of windows, like XP. But Windows 7 appears to be able to handle it OK.
