Default Moving to Houston in Feb!!!

Hey everyone.. I'm going to be moving out to Houston in Feb.

I've lived in NY all my life and am excited to get away from the snow.

Is there a big car scene there? Just wondering..

Looking forward to TX2K11 and meeting some new car guys!!!

You have your choice of ANYTHING here. Just ask what's happening this weekend and you will have your calender full.

What part of Houston do you plan on moving to?

If that is the UTI center close to GW Intercontinental Airport, then yes its ghetto...You can go farther north towards the woodlands, or west/nw towards cypress and tomball. Those are nice areas to live in and still won't be too far from UTI...

if you have any money for a downpayment I highly recommend you build a house. Right now you can build a hosue for dirt cheap, cheaper then you can buy used. Just no point in throwing money down the drain in rent when for the same you can buy and start getting an investment. But that's just my :.02:

But each to their own. You will have a blast down here regardless!!
