RCC, you prefer (whichever is your favorite) 1911 or the XD45?
ive been looking at a kimber 1911 or a springfield XD and springfield 1911 and need to get at a gun show and hold them to help make up my mind.

Seriously, we live in TEXAS.
I vote LaRue Tactical, Mark LaRue builds as many products in house as he possible can, his CNC machines run around the clock, he builds top notch products right here in Texas. He will also makes his own billet lowers.
Makes the best mounts known to man, **** RCC had LaRue mounts in a couple of his AR15 pictures with Nightforce scope.

I prefer 1911's over any other kind of pistol. In my opinion the XD pistols are the best of polymer pistols. The reason I have some XD pistols is they stay in my vehicles and if I am going to have a pistol stolen I would rather loose a $500 XD than have a $1200 1911 stolen.

As far as the stealth uppers go, I dont have any or any preassembled AR. I have built every single one of mine from the receivers up. I use some of Larue's and many others in the builds, but I pick the oarts myself depending on the purpose of the rifle.

welll I decided for my 1st AR I'm going to go with a Bushmaster or DPMS and go from there, just to save some time as I'm also in the mix of doing an M1 build off a Remington SPS .308 which is proving a lil costly as is and I'm not even half way done...
Thanks for all the info guys...and RC as usual you have given alot of very useful info here...if I have any other questions I'll shoot you a PM that's for sure...

Jesus Christ RCC why in the hell do you need that many guns lol.
But heres my 2 cents I like the AR 15 (M16 for military) but just keep it clean and it will shoot fine. I would add a lot more but all these gun nuts covered everything basically.
I have the second highest range score at 29 Palms CA when I was a Marine out there I got a 346 out of a possible 350. But my SSGT got a 347 and took the gold. Was kinda pissed b/c I beat the previous record of 345 but got beat out the same day by my SSGT lol. When I first shot this rifle in Recruit Training I was really amazed how well it shot with iron sights at 500 Meters.

ak's are GARBAGE anyone that knows about guns will tell you, and ive seen them in action, can you say cartridge jam. have you ever seen them torture test one they hang up like crazy after a few hundred rounds. ive seen them fire thousands of rounds through an ar-15 with no jams they even put dirt in the upper receiver NO JAMS. are you really trying to compare an ar-15 to an ak-47![Rolleyes](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/rolleyes.gif)

Post up pics of the guns with you holding them and an LS1Tech sign so we know it's real. Even so you don't know what you are talking about either way.
