It would be better to google that one. They are 2 completely different platfoms. The only thing they share is the caliber which is .223, actually that is even a little different as a Mini-14 shoots strictly .223 and the barrel twists are suited for lighter weight bullets and most AR's are really built to shoot 5.56, but shoot .223 just as well.
