Default hit a f#cking deer tonight

driving along and there was a buck crossing the road. i was doing about 60 and slammed on the breaks. i probably hit him at about 20. he spun around about 3 or 4 times and got up and ran off. now my headlight wont go down and he scratched up the paint on the front of my bumper and chipped some on the nose. all in all wasnt too bad though. didnt crack the bumper or anything.
first thing i did was call my paint guy since he already has my rear bumper and spoiler

i hit a deer in my grandmas alero once. was driving 55 or so and he ran across the road, got hit and he went flying. i got out of the car and found it probably 30 feet off the road in some grass. poor thing tried to get up, but couldnt. i tried callin someone to come out and shoot it for me but it died pretty quickly on its own. then some rednecks in an old 60's pickup came and took it haha.

Low pro car and deer don't mix.

The wife hit a buck doing about 45 a few weeks back in the diesel. It put a tiny crack in the chrome on the bumper and a slight dent. She hit it, it went under the truck, drove over it, and then she saw it in the mirror get up and run off! I'm pretty positive he collapsed soon there after in the woods and died.

The state puts a season on them due to their reproductive cycle. Although it wouldnt be a bad thing for there to be open season for about a decade to knock the numbers back down. The latest talk with our county biologist was a bit scary, theyre breeding like rabbits.

Be careful out there for the next week or two guys, the rut is still going pretty good and those bucks only have one thing on their mind right now and its not becoming a hood ornament on your car.
