That sucks David sorry to hear that.

Make sure they didn't take the insurance card.. Also do you have a garage door opener?? If so make sure they didn't take it.

Police say people will break into cars to take garage door openers and the insurance cards and go to the house and rob it.

They popped the lock cylinder out? If so get a back door driver's side handle (no lock) and put it on the driver's door, or one of those Jimmy-Jams.

That sucks. My Hummer got broken into this time last year not once but twice! Two weeks apart. The first break-in they got my Glock 19 in the center console. Second break-in they got nothing. Just left me with popped locks I had to fix myelf. I couldn't believe these cars were that easy to get into.

IMO car alarms are worthless. No one does anything. Unless you get one that alerts you in person you will never know. I mean how many times do you walk in a parking lot and hear an alarm going off?

Sucks it happened!! Hope everything gets taken care of.

All it takes is one time , When somebody with a gun on them catches the guy in the act of breaking in his car. I know I would shoot him first, ask questions later. The the PD would be on there toes more. There is a plain clothes patrolmen that hanges out where my shop is.

Hopefully they caught the guys who stole your gun. What sux is that they will probably use it to do more crimes.

Car alarms may be worthless to those around but when the clifford remote in my pocket goes off I'm going to go investigate.
