Smile Took The TA To The Track...

Well, decided to go to see what the TA would run since I haven't ran it with the new setup. Had 2 good passes, and didn't want to test the 10 bolt after that... haha. Best pass was a 12.2 @ 119 with a 2.0 60ft.

congrats buff,ran a little better than i thought,good job.i thought it was gonna run a 12.3@117.

if youve seen a bolton ls1 m6 with 17"drag radials on a 10bolt run faster than that,then they must have weight reduction,great da,badass driver,great track prep,or a few of these things.
btw i need injectors got any?28lb or svo 30

Yeah I don't know why he's car running times like that. Hell I did times like that with cam only and street tires. and I had 389 hp. I didn't have the mods listed below in my sig on this run. I ran a 12.1 on that pass

bieng an auto helps u get off the line smooth,very hard to do on nittos with a 6speed and 450+hp.i belive that other car was a civic

on your car you only trapped a 112 and cut a better 60'than this guy so thats why you ran a 12.1.

It is what it is. The nittos were definitely not helping... plus I was launching it at 4K, bogging off the line... If I could get it off the line quicker, and cut my 60ft down then 11s wouldn't have been a problem.

The car in the left lane was a RX-7 with a huge turbo, ran a 9.9 @ 140

I will also throw out that prep at SAR is sketchy... I've ran a 12.18 there myself, but that particular run was a 1.8 60'...

it did good man,people think its easy to go fast in a ls1,6speed,10bolt,17"radials,but its not.any quicker and the rearend might have gone.ask duff he knows.i think you have my old # duff.

Ya I know your car is easily capable of high to mid 11's. You need that rear end so you can really dump that clutch... In an m6 launch is everything once you get you 60' down I'm sure your going to be posting again in the 11 second club!! Solid run for a solid car but I know you can do better dude!!!!

Oh and his car does sound sick, he never closes his cutout so basically runs open headers lol!!!

When you comming back to A-Town to stomp the shot talkers!!? Lol

But my point is he has a **** ton of stuff done to his car over what I had at this point.

He's car should be mid 11's if not lower on nittos. My track pass was with real hard *** street tires.

And I know I can't compare a Auto car to his 6 speed but damn... I have seen a few 6 speeds with his mods with mid 11's

westtexasbuff just keep trying you will get there.. and I know you're probably like me on babying you rearend.



Funny thing is that night I got that 12.1 pass... All night I was hitting 12.6 12.8 because the car wouldn't hook with my shitty street tires. And FireTA wanted to pick on me and run me and my **** hooked ... I was lol

Every tenth in the 60ft is 2 tenths on the big end. For sure a mid to low 11 car. Good runs.

Nice trap speed easily an 11.80 car worst case scenario, the cam is doing it's job.
