Default 2011 NHRA Spring Nationals - Pictures
Well, I figured this would be a great venue to try out my new camera that the Mrs bought me for Christmas. It's a Canon Rebel XS and I went and bought a 70-300MM IS USM telephoto zoom lens for the event. I tried sereral different settings. The "Sports" setting automatically sets the shutter and aperature settings and, as a result, the shutter speed was 1/1600. Way too fast. Most of my shots were taken at 1/125 to 1/250. Some at 1/500. Let me know what you all think!!
