He has pneumonia now, which is very common for people in his condition. It is showing some signs of improvement. He keeps making baby steps in the right direction. His attending nurse is working with him a lot to get more response out of him.

He will be going in for surgery tomorrow on his head. They will be trying to reposition the fracture and drain the blood that has bled into his head.
I am not putting to much information out there, because our mom asked me not too. And I respect her wishes.

Just seen this story sad to hear, noone deserves to be in that condition whatso ever. Details r not inmportant all we care is that he is progressing in the right direction, keep us informed on his progress.

Prayers for your brother and your entire family. My brother is my best friend and I have seen him in somewhat similar conditions. I am sorry you have to experience this.

Surgery is over. Doctor said he did great and it took less time than anticipated (about an hour). They realigned his bones and secured it, drained out the fluid, and he is back in his room now.
Thanks again to everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. My brother continues to defy the odds and make progress that the doctors didn't think he would do. Now the next step for his is to wake up and start responding to commands.

I was told tonight by our mom that he is officially off the ventilator. He is breathing on his own through the Trake. He still has not opened his eyes, but they say with the amount of pain killers and paralitics he has been on it might take a while to clear that crap out of his system.
