I thought this comment was funny..
So turbos spooling = 60+. Got it.
"I don't know how fast he was going, but he had to be going 60+ because I could hear the turbos spooling on the car," said Travis Brown, an employee at a nearby store who witnessed the crash. "Next I know I heard tire squealing, then he jumped the curb and hit the fence."

You'll have to PM me on this one Joe, I gathered bits and pieces from the other thread, and have seen this GORGEOUS car in person, but am just wondering about the backstory for the sake of my own personal curiousity.

Tragic loss there but has any one gotten word on why it was in the shop and if there was a mechanical reason for the wreck?
I know I'm not going to be well recieved here but from a mechanics point of view, maybe the throtle cable stuck or something like that. (I don't pretend to know foreign cars) Also, I used to work with a guy who was a type 1 diabetic. One day he just went under while on a test drive and when he woke up there was a stop sign an inch away from his face that came through the windshield when he ran off the road.
