Who gives a **** how much money JJ makes? That doesn't make them popular across the country, that just means that Cowboys fans spend more on jerseys and hats. The Yankees make the most money in baseball, that also means they are one of the most hated teams by the rest of the country.

That article means nothing, green bay is only at the "top" because of how they've been doing, period.

The financial viability of a team is a much better indicator of the fanbase than an internet poll. Really how can you deny that? He makes more off merchandise and ticket sales because his team is popular, there is a higher demand for his team than others therefore the Cowboys are still the most popular team.

If they continue with the way they've been playing I don't doubt they will lose that title within the next few years though.

Not that I really care but Pittsburgh was number 1 in merchandise sales last year.

I'll predict a 31-7 victory tonight, anything less and I'll be a bit worried.

Don't be so naive. Everyone in Dallas owns some sort of Cowboys gear, most likely multiple. Sure, there are others around the country also buying it. Many fans right here in Texas and Houston too. That doesn't mean the rest of the country, outside of Dallas or Texas, like the cowboys. That poll is for the national vote, not the population of Texas merchandise buying vote. As I mentioned, the Yankees also top the sales each year, but they are one of the most loathed (but respected, and feared) teams outside of NY. Even half of NYC doesn't like them. Population in one region dictates merchandise sales, not national popularity. http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/e...97882/28047520

Need another example? Texas A&M and University of Texas both sell a ****-ton of merchandise too. That doesn't mean the rest of the country likes these two schools, it just means their fans spend more on maroon or orange stuff, and buy it more often. http://www.clc.com/clcweb/publishing...nkings+2010-11

If your going to sit here and say the cowboys aren't the most popular football team in the world, then you are seriously retarded.

Did we play each other? No did we play the same schedule? No were both in 1st place in our division, y'all aren't any better at all.

Every power rankings from every major sports network has disagreed with you for most of this season. But, what do they know? I'm sure being a retarded cowboys fan makes you smarter than the professionals.
