have you used them? Have you had a problem? You heard about problems. Well I heard that f bodies are peices of ****, I own one, lol. Unless you have personally used them then its all hearsay. I used several spec clutches and they make a great clutch. They have more clutches in use than any other company so they probably have more defective parts. Its a numbers thing. Jeremy at spec is very helpful and will work with you. I ran a 3 and a 3 plus and loved both of them. In your case OP ls7 will do more than what you will probably ever want at a great price.

What actually makes it a pos? How many miles? New flywheel upon install? Adjustable master? etc. If set up properly they are a really good clutch. My 3+ drove almost like stock and help a **** ton of power.

Another vote for this. I'm still loving my LS7 clutch. After my experience, I'm doing okay without the adjustable master cylinder, but if we had it to do over again, I'd have put one in. If my stock one ever goes out, it will be upgraded to the adjustable. If you're like me and don't ever plan to do much to it, I think this would be a good way to go.

Its cool if you want to do a clutch but just because you are doing a master doesnt mean you need a clutch. You master is located out of the trans and you are adding extra labor and parts to your bill.

If you decide to do the clutch make sure you do a slave cylinder. The slave is inside and you have to remove the trans to change it. A slave it self is only like $125. Good preventive maintence item to replace.

LS7 clutch kit if your not looking to mod it to hard in the future. I'm running a Spec 3+ in my Camaro and I love it.
