new project/toy questions...
well after months of looking for another toy, I'm getting ready to go pick up a 97 Z28(white with orange stripes) for pretty cheap that dosen't run for whatever reason for my next project as it will be getting an LS swap, now I remember someone telling me that someone in Houston will take an LS harness and split the ends and label them to mate to an LT harness but don't know who it was.....
now before the "do a search" gets thrown out I've tried it already, been here long enough to know that...

For the price and the agrivation of it all, why not try to find a wrecked LS car and rob it of it's harnesses and dash while you're there. Makes plug and play SOOO much easier IMO.

yet you seem to be the only one to ever find these deals.....and I actually like the LT1 nose over the LS1 nose....and this 97 30th car is in pretty good shape....as for the harness, since I'll have the whole LT1 harness I was going to get the LS harness and repin the LS connector at the plug under the dash to make it plug and play, no need to get the whole dash since it's the same in the 97 cars...

Let me know if you got any questions. The mechanical swap is very simple same with wiring. Pretty much figured it out on my own in 2004 when i started this thing. Not much interest or swapped lt cars that existed back then.
