Help!!! I need ideas!!! :) So most you guys on here know alot more about cars than I do and I think I want to start putting mods on my car!!! 
So Ideas where do I start and plus my boyfriend keeps joking how he wants to race me but I would need alot lead way to win lol

Put a Lid on , maybe cut out the bottom for free ram air . Better flowing exhaust . Go to the hardware store and go to plumbing and get a fernco 3X3 coupling to get rid of the accordion that is connected to the maf

If your car is 100% stock get ready to spend some money to make it quick. Here is a quick run down of some parts to get it going.
Headers/Exhaust
Air Lid
Intake Bello
Under drive pulley
Cam/Springs/Push rods
Heads
Your car should already have a LS6 intake on it so you should be good there. A tune will help a little and if you plan to drag his *** from a dig you will needs some tires and suspension. Frame Connectors/Adjustable torque arm/Lower control arms/Lower control arm re-locate brackets...
Start with the easy bolt on items and work your way up to the heads and cam.
