I got second degree burns from oil. But still kept working. I got a gash bout that bad on my palm. Jusy cleaned it up. Wrapped gauze and tape.went back to work.
Worst i had was one guy i was installing a tq converter and other parts. He did not follow my instructiond and or was not paying attention. My hand got caught between trans and jack. That sucked. My hand was numb a whole day.
Now i charge more if im being "helped" by the owner.

Wow dude I did the exact same thing installing 5" exhaust on my dodge. Wrench slipped off the bolt on the exhaust mount and my pinky knuckle went strait into the edge of one of the cooling fins on the transmission. I didn't even know i cut it open that bad until blood was running down my arm never felt it or anything. I never got stitches just kept it clean and changed the bandage 2 times a day and my cut was probably 1/4 of an inch longer. Would probably be a little harder to keep a bandage on one of the middle knuckles though, mine is healed up but still a little pink under where the cut used to be and this was about 2 months ago.

Damn man that sucks... Mine never got infected.. Strange, i had grease/dirt and everything all over my hands at the time too. I washed my hands really good used some peroxide and neosporin, put some butterfly's on it and one of the bigger band-aids wrapped it put a glove on and finished my exhaust.. The next day it hurt like a bitch, I could hardly make a fist for the longest time but never once got infected. I would have went to the dr ASAP if it did show signs of infection though.

Dayum thanks for sharing, I've been stabbed twice, its not a pleasant feeling. The second time I went Narc free. Its definitely painful. Especially If you get stitches near your belly button, then sit up after that only to have them tear off.
