Default Thoughts on an 09 Hyundai Genesis?

I know most of you wouldn't look twice at a Hyundai, but I'm putting some serious thought into one. I just don't know much about them, been "researching" for a couple days, but was hoping to find some people that have actually owned them on here. I have the opportunity to get an 09 with ~29k miles, fully loaded, Nav, DVD Player in the Nav Screen, Heated and cooled seats etc etc etc. for ~$22k for the Genesis and $10.2k for the TA put back to stock. The issue I'm having is the color. It's Gold on beige. Not much I can do with that, besides black out the windows. I'm 26, and gold just seems like a 60-70 yr old color. But IMO the value is there. I took it home a couple nights ago and loved the ride compared to the TA, and was much quiter . I'd like to hear some of your opinions on it.

By the way, that Lexicon sound system sounds ridiculous, its like a damn movie theatre.

If it's your DD and you already have another toy then do it if you like the car.

He has a Genesis? What yr?

I like the car, just not the color. But the price isn't bad IMO.

You'll put it up for sale after a few months, anyway.

No, I have not owned one and never will, so can't help you otherwise.

You're probably right. I really don't know how people can keep the same car for years.

My mom has a black '10, V8, every option. Car is absolutely badass. They really only use it to make monthly trips to Louisiana, whatever casino they get comp'd at. The catch phrase is very true - "all the room and options of a 5-series...for the price of a 3-series"

Only thing...that color...good god man

I know. I wouldn't go for an 06 E66, either. I was just merely pointing out that the blanket statement made by the guy I quoted is flat out stupid.

There's a reason they are so cheap, 750's are retarded expensive to maintain. It's probably broken in a very specific area that requires special tools and a personal loan to fix.

That being said, I'd never buy a Hyundai. There is a reason those things are cheap too..
