Does anyone local have one I can borrow? I am in La Porte. I am putting together my rear end and need to check bearing preload. I've bought everything else needed but this us the only thing holding me up and at this point I don't want to buy another one time use tool. Appreciate it.

It calls for 15in/lbs bearing preload to free spin the pinion. I know that's like nothing but I like to do things right and I don't want to wing it lol and it be too tight and have premature bearing failure.. It probably doesn't have to be beam style but not sure it would register on a click style.

I went by Sears and harbor freight. No luck. I've asked everyone I know lol. No luck. I found a ft/lbs one on Cl which would probably. I might try looking around in pawn shops and northern tools
