the reason people are giving you **** is because you complained about not having the healthcare you want while listing careers and jobs that do have what you want. So rather than saying you work hard but are unhappy with your healthcare, you could a. Get a different job that makes you happy healthcare wise, or b. buy your the care you want with your earnings.
i dont think that me ditching my current job i enjoy to go sit in a desk at anadarko is the way to get what i want. was merely expressing the current situation could be vastly improved for all.

Tanning bed customers are now taxed 10% as part of this reform.
ANYTHING the govt. sees as a danger to it's people will be taxed in order to cover their potential extra costs in healthcare. As the healthcare funds become more depleted the taxation will become more widespread.
ATV's will be taxed into obsolescence, guns will follow, unhealthy foods will be taxed. Want to have a swimming pool installed in your back yard? pay another tax.
Have you ever traveled to Canada, tobacco products are outrageous, as is alcohol.... I'm a non smoker and light drinker, but it's not my place to judge.
Want to drive a "high performance vehicle" pay your LS1 tax

Gulf, you know me so well! I'm impressed that you can infer so much from two replies. If your referring to my belief in maximum individual freedoms, freedom of action, or freedom from prejudice or bigotry, well then guilty I guess. However, I also believe in traditional family values, a strong national defense, and a committment to faith; crap I'm so confused as that would point to conservatism. Maybe I'm just a realist who chooses to beleive in facts, not scare tactics. Tell me the truth, but don't fill me with the ramblings of extremist who parade inferences and opinions as the truth. There are some facts in this thread, but also a lot of crap. Remember the Brady Bill when some said that we'd all lose our right to own weapons(come on, do you really need an AR-15 to hunt anyway; its a defensive weapon for a two way fight?!). Well, how'd that pan out? I'm just saying to do a little research of your own rather than believe what you read once or hear on the radio or talk shows. Have an original thought and don't just regurgitate the ramblings of others. God Bless; aww damm there's the conservative in me!

seriously you guys do not want this!
I live in one of those countries that pride themselves in social care, and the quality of doctors are ****. Hospitals are literally falling apart and ALOT of malpractice. Im not saying this will happen in the US, but if i get sick or whatver here, im going with a private clinic.

Except now there are so many on extended unemployment and now low cost health care that it will motivate them to vote- they don't want to give that up.
I am really hoping that calling this a tax will get into people's heads and get them out to vote.
Country can't survive very well when less than half the population is paying taxes. The smart ones with all the $$ will leave.

Its just another way for the feds to get into my pocket. It will give greedy co's a way to get rid of employee health care. Their tax will be cheaper then paying the insurance cost.
We all will be paying more for crack heads, illegals, welfare baby factories, and octal mothers to have care.
The present system is broke and the feds know it. This will allow care rationing to the baby boomers so problem solved. You've worked your whole life now your sick sorry just go away and die TY for all the taxes you paid. Oh and don't forget to vote for me..before you check out. Have a nice day..
It's like that in Europe already. Oh and guess what. They don't have guns to fight back.
The NWO wants a world wide slave population to cater to the elites. If your young or old or disabled they have no use for you.
H'mmm sounds alot like **** Germany or modern day China..

yep, sign of a true **** sucker right there.
and how did we get on the idea that i'm going to be using this plan? i make a good living and work hard and put a ton in savings. i have a personal healtcare plan and its costly. i was stating the fact that most in here are spouting off like we had this awesome healthcare and insurance program in the US. which is untrue, there is so much greed, corruption, ect in the insurance sector it is sickening. it needs to be reformed in some way or another.

Alamo, how does hoping for the best and planning for the worst make one an "extremist"?
You act as if martial law is fiction and only in movies...you act as if governments don't often become corrupt with power and control. Yes, all of that is really far fetched....it'll never happen.
Keep sticking your head in the dirt....the rest of us will take care of the dirty work for you
