Default Where to buy a 408???? Texas Speed?

Where do y'all buy your motors? I'm set on a 408 and have been looking at Texas Speed short blocks and long blocks.

So where do y'all get your motors from and i would like to hear about good and bad stories that you have had at different places.

My goal is a n/a 408 with about a 11.1 compression and a healthy valve train and daily driver friendly cam. 500rwhp and will be trying to run 10's

Texas speed is a good place there prices are hard to beat by any one else.
The other place is livernoismotorsports couple of my class mates from SAM are working there building those motors so you will get a good engine. there both good . just my two cents the other option is to have one custom built bit it will take longer to get it together. and the nickensbrothers they are building ls engines too.

Another for LME, I installed a few in customers cars and never been a problem.

LME may seem to be higher on price but when you factor in better crank, ARP hardware and other add ons their prices are decent. Texas Speed shows a low up front price but check what the total will be after getting everything you want.

Late Model Engines. They build a ton of our stuff. If they can build our LSX that revs over 9000 rpm with 50 pounds of boost with no issues then the street engines are a cake walk
