Default C7.R wide body pics

These are the first pics of the C7.R captured at Laguna Seca during a test session. The production wide body C7s are going to look sick nasty.

Looks hideous but just my opinion. Looks wider then a ford diesel. Awesome pic quality though

Considering this looks like a full fiberglass body race car, I'm sure the production version won't be near that wide. Hopefully they do something subtle and aggressive with light quarter flares like the c6 zo6.

The production cars won't be nearly that wide. Look at the C6-R cars, they were a lot wider than the Z06/ZR1 also. Even the GTS-R Viper race car is wider than the production car.

Of course the fenders and quarter panels won't be that dramatic on a production model. The pictures are just a point of reference to compare it against the factory Stingray body.

Since we're on topic of the next gen high performance C7s, I don't we will see a Z06 replacement for another 3-4 years. However, I do think GM will introduce the next gen Grand Sport first with the leaked supercharged LT4 engine that appeared awhile back. Makes perfect sense to me, paying homage to the C4 LT4 Grand Sport.
