I used G&G Performance Engines in Tomball for my machining work.

I will say this. Choose your engine builder carefully and ensure they are qualified to do the job. Make sure they have a good track record and plenty of positive feedback. If you are planning to use a one man machine shop to build an engine, I would suggest doing your research on that individual.
Or you pistons stick out or sink in your block and you have to pay to either to have block decked or pistons shaved because you just ordered some off the shelf **** instead of having a machine shop measure it up and order **** to set it at 0deck.
I have never regretted a single cent spent at my machine shop. If anything the motors always come back with more done than I would expect, or stuff I wouldn't have even gone through the trouble of.

Not sure if it's the same guy but the name seems to be the same. John Jinter or Ginter. I personally would rather do business with a machine shop in person. I want a tour of the shop I'm planning to spend $1000's at before I spend a dime. When I had my shortblock built by LME, Bryan personally walked me through the shop and showed me everything.
