c5z build thread, dart 427, mast heads, f1r, c6z tr6060!
Doing a pretty big build to my car. Bret is doing some awesome work! Going to be a lot of pictures since the build has been going awhile.
The long block is a dart SHP block with the dart billet center weighted crank, wiseco boostline rods and wiseco rods. The heads are mast 305 black label heads. Bret spec'd the cam for setup.

Nice set of push rods, I believe they are a little longer the mast heads.
Drive shaft shop, aluminum drive shaft that eliminates the couplers. Those are also my original couples with 122k miles on them. They were in great shape.
Exhaust work to clear the tr6060 setup
C6z rear end replumbed and custom hoses.

My coil packs are going to be relocated and Bret is cleaning all the wiring on top of the engine. The stock wiring was old and wanted it to look better. This will be the only wiring on top. Its actually all black and the silver is from the flash.
Thermostat controlled oil block. It makes sure oil reaches the right temp and burns out water. Also still has the factory oil temp sensor for the gauges to work properly.

The frame was sanded, smoothed and repainted to clean things up, Coil relocation brackets. The coils are going to be in the driver's fender and hidden by the battery. And the radiator in the custom made cradle. The cradle makes it stand straight up instead of laying down. It will increase flow and help cooling. There is plenty of room for a 4" or bigger intake and charge pipe too.

I had the same blower on my old 408 and it made 887 whp. With the new engine it should make a little more but is still limited by the f1r. It should break 900. After I get some stuff taken care of I will be changing to a f1x and will make 1100. I already have everything needed to make more power.

Its kind of limited to what the f1r will make. On the old setup it made 887 whp with the same blower. The new engine should make a little more, maybe 950. The f1r is just kind of small for this engine but the budget doesn't have room for a f1x yet. With an f1x, It will make 1100+ pretty easy.
