Default Car is road worthy again

We finally got our 2000 Pontiac Trans Am back on the road after 3yrs. of downtime. Feels good and now I'm ready for some sunny day cruising and track time. Swapped out engines, still an LS1 with the Torquer 2 cam, 243 heads and a 90mm fast intake and 90mm TB. Engine replaced and tuned by Bad Chad. Had it repainted, replaced the front seats, and new used automatic console installed. Ready for the track with the Trans Am and my recently purchased 2000 Camaro.

Love the TA. I'm in TX as well but in my town I don't see many trans ams. What size welds do you have?

There is a 7.0 and 5.80 index race at HMP this Saturday. The more F bodies, the merrier.

Yes, I saw your post on one of his threads when he took it out to Milan. Want to lighten it up some before I take it to the track, fiberglass front hood and some Bogarts.

I start my 3 day weekend of days this Friday, want to lighten the car up and wait for cooler weather before I take it out. Wanted to go the LSX shootout this weekend but other commitments kept me away. I'll see you out there one day, like your 90 Camaro, seen your posts about it, looks good.

Thanks. I missed LS Fest partly because I chose to go out of town but partly because they were charging people to take there buggies in. That's part of my rig, a tool. I ain't paying to take in my tools. Also, it allows for a bunch of buggies running around that don't need to be in the way. I hope it did well though. Any event os good for the game.
