Just an interesting picture. My daughter’s car nose too nose with mine. The 6th gen looks like it has twice the frontal area. Oddly enough, the first comparison that came to mind was it’s like digging with a round nose shovel versus a square one.
This might have been the most physically demanding thing that I've ever done by myself. Getting old sucks. I guess it beats the alternative. There is a lot going on under this car. Fitting a 4” exhaust system under here is tight.
IT’S ALIVE!!! It started on the first turn off the key. Oil pressure is good, water temp is good, and it idles at 800 rpm. The Mufflex exhaust is loud. I am going to take it to MTI this week to have the suspension set up and subframe connectors welded in. They will tune it and then I guess I’m ready to rock.
Hey, you live in Sugar Land. Cool. It sounds so deep. It’s around 11.5 compression and has the Mast Motorsports cam and you can feel and hear like every pulse. I had it towed up to MTI today to set everything up. When they get the suspension set up they will put a tune so I can drive it around and break it in. After that we will put it on the dyno and see what it will do.

Hey. It’s been awhile since I updated this post. The car is up and running, but I have been super busy and I have only driven it about 25 miles so far. I am going to Otto’s Camaro night with my daughter tonight. She unfortunately was T-Boned in her Camaro and it was totaled. We just got her another Camaro so this will be her first time taking her car out. Her car is a Red Line so I just added some emblems to my wheels to match hers. Something about doing that makes a 16 year old girl happy. If any of you are going tonight look me up. It has been a lot of hard work in my driveway to get this project complete.

Thanks. I can tell that I am going to have to invest in some different rear tires. I have the 325 Goodyear run flats from the Corvette and they have no chance at all when I roll into it in second gear. I have been looking at the Goodyear F1 R3 tires. They have some good reviews so they might have a chance.
Did you go to Otto's? I've been meaning to go, but its on the other side of the world for me. I live in the Clear Lake area. You should join us on one of our Houston F-body cruises. They just had one yesterday, but I had family stuff to do for Easter.
I would very much like to do that. My daughter just got her replacement Camaro and she would like that as well.
There's a lot if Fbodies getting together at Otto's this Saturday at 3pm for good parking even though it starts at 4pm. I think it's 3rd Gen night and they will get all the premium spots.

Hey. Not really. I started it up last night and it sounds so healthy. With that 18 straight days of rain we just had I haven’t even got it out of my garage. I have been trying to finish my Laguna project and I have been working on my truck some. I almost have everything that I own working. That will be such a great day.
