You need to come over one day. Just as I am getting everything that I own working, I have to go back to work. I am about to start a 2 month project at a Lyondell plant. That was some really bad news about what happened to other day. I have worked in that plant a few times. You just never know.

Yep, that's the plant I work at. So sad for the those people.
Which LynndellBasell are you going to?
We need you back at AB3. Damn place can't stay running for 1 month. The I&E team are having big problems with the BAFCO system.

Hey. Driving a 7000 rpm 4th gen with a 4” Mufflex exhaust down the road is truly exhilarating.

Thanks. It was a lot of work but I think it turned out better than I could have hoped for. I still need to get it tuned and I still need a new headliner. I had one on order but after 4 months of waiting I got my money back. I thought I found one the other day but it had a 65 day delivery. I guess I will just make my own. There is a car show near me tomorrow. I wish I could find a way to get it and my truck over there. If I can pull that off I will post some pictures. Thanks again.

Well, I couldn’t get the Camaro and the truck to the show but my little truck did pick up some hardware.

Yes it was. I did meet up with the guys. I was really wanting to bring my car but it was pouring down rain this morning. I WAS NOT going to let my wife drive my truck with the wet roads and she can’t drive my Camaro. You should have come down and helped me out.

Hey. I am about to dust this project off and finish it up. My mini tub kit will get here next week and I am getting ready. I also forgot that it didn’t have a headliner, so I bought one of the ABS ones from a guy here on the site. I already had some new sun visors so I just covered the headliner and did a test fit. The part really doesn’t fit perfect so I took it out so I can make some adjustments. I have also taken everything out of the back of the car so I can start getting ready to cut it up. After I finish the tub kit I will get some new tires,335’s in the rear, and get it tuned. Thanks.

Well, my kit showed up today. It consists of 8 pieces of metal. 4 of the pieces have handwritten labels on them and the other 4 pieces are self explanatory. No instructions came with the kit so I have to figure that out. I am off on Friday so I will start on my puzzle then. I am definitely not going to cut anything on my car until I have a really good understanding of what I am up against. If anyone wants to chime in with their experience, please do. Cheers.

I have been researching the LS7 this last week while they try and get the plant started up. It seems that the titanium rods will eventually fail and wipe out the bearings. I really can’t go with the 441 kit because the cylinder liners are to thin. So I am going to talk with a shop in Houston next weekend to get some ideas. For now, if I get some time tonight, I will pull the heads off and pull out the rotating assembly. For now all I have is a picture of a clean car and truck. More to come this week.

Not to change the subject but any details on the Square Body? Looks like a beautiful truck, congrats

Hey. That truck. I looked for about 4 years for a truck body good enough to paint black. I finally found this truck and it had just over 100,000 miles on it. It was always parked in a garage so it was actually very straight and rust free. So, when I got it home I completely took it apart and went to work. I gave the 305 away built an AFR headed 406. I should probably stop my self here with what all has been done to the truck and just show some pictures. I have only taken this truck out in public a few times in the last 7 years that it has been finished. I haven’t even put 500 miles since competition. It won Best 80-Present truck at a small Autorama show and the Top Performer award at another show. The guy who won that show had a $250,000 Elonore Mustang that sold for $270,000 at Mecum Houston awhile back. I just ordered a single mount SS fuel tank for it so I can ditch the dual tanks. I am thinking real hard about doing a 6-speed manual swap on it as well.
