It sounds like a fair race to me. You have a bigger motor and a power adder. They have a smaller motor and no power adder. The playing field gets even by the difference in chassis. You need the cubes and dope to make up the difference, they don't.

Well Powell, I haven't seen your car in a long time so I'm not really sure what you can put down. I have seen the Strictly car and I'm not so sure how "fair" this is going to be. I do wish you the best of luck and even if you don't win, its a pretty big deal to be going up against that car.

Ben the difference is though they are all motor and make close to 900+hp at the flywheel.. And have a chassis that weighs ~2900lbs.
But who cares.. Guess we will have to set the pills to kill!

Now I did ask if they wanted to do a real fair race. Im sure the Cato family would not mind lineing up with their car when its finished vs the hot street car. A wheelie bar car for a wheelie bar car, shoot for shoot, etc...

really? Powell is hoping to crack 8's with more dope, their car runs high 8's, low 9's. Still sounds like a fun race to me. Besides, what's he got to loose? If he looses to a chassis car, big deal. If he beats a chassis car, now he's got some bragging rights!

Powell, I guess that race car you have is scaring to many people, maybe you should go get a real street car. But in all fairness, these guys got you covered by .5 a second, so what you should do is run some of there cars that are in your league 1 at a time and then if you can stomp them, run that real race car. And if you do loose, tell them good race. Then we can bust out old blue on them, and show them how fair they really are.

I'm oblivious to this but does Strictly Pro only work on Rustangs?? There's some dude here where I live that talks all this **** about his" KB Cobra with 700 RWHP capable of low 10s all motor and 9s with nitrous" The guy has even gone so far to "pick an LS1 of his choosing to race them and embrass them" All this was supposed to happen at the race track this past Friday. Of course he was a no show, but still, He got all this info about low 10s from the guys that built him the engine there at Strictly Pro. No one has ever seen this car run... Only ones that add fuel to the hype are his friends (2 people) and the guy is quick to call out guys he knows won't bother racing him or with STOCK and i do mean STOCK LS1s. Several LS1s with Heads/cam or Cam only have called him out and never any response. It's all pretty funny
