Well the other night I was talking to Gary from Stictly and told him that I wanted to race the Buillit and the yellow mod motored Cobra heads up in the 1/8th mile. Tonight I ran into Greg, Jerry, and some other customers of theirs at the Fairmont meet. They just kept running their mouths and said they wanted to race my BIG BIG motor with a 500 shot on it.. against their Street Bandit car.. The Tube Chassis, Jericho 5spd, 398ci All motor car. I know that thing is not in my league.. But its a BEAUTIFUL car, if I were to build a car thats what Id build! But come on...

Now tell me LS1Tech... How is this fair... Even Eric Stubbs thought it was funny that they were talking **** trying to get my LS1 to race a chassis car... Real fair.

Now who on this board wants to see Texas's fastest 03/04 Cobras get their asses cracked by one Houston's slowest LS1.....

PS... Now come on Jerry, remember I "run" my mouth all the time.. If I remember correctly YOU were the one who started talking the ****.. When you got smacked down because well you suck at doing so.. Just shut up.. please..

So let's make sure I understand this.

A 2,900 lb., Ladder-Bar Suspension, Sheet-Metal/Dominator, RACE CAR, wants to race a stock-suspension, 3,500lb., STREET CAR?

Sounds like you guys should be giving something up.

I like the Ford stuff too but you need to put that car down for the pride of the LS1 community. If you don't win.......well you really shouldn't maybe anyway and if you do win you look like the big pimp! It's mostly a win/win overall.

then you can beat 'em tell 'em to stick it. if you dont beat 'em, tell 'em good job on the street car vs. race car run lol. take out as much weight as you possibly can, i mean drain the water and run no damn radiator for the one pass (outlaw sprintcar qualifying style)

You just need to tell Richard to bring out both yellow cars and one or two others. It would be one hell of a night. I saw the street bandit car's motor on the dyno. Very impressive, especially for its size. With your times you shouldn't be afraid of just about anything. I'm sure its not often you get challenging races.

Hell, race them. You really don't have anything to lose pride-wise if you get beat by a chassis car. And if you win, well damn thats a LOT of fun smack talk ahead. I thought they had a few 9-second street car Cobras, how come those don't want to race?

That would rock out, even if you do lose, you could still put up a decent fight against a freaking race car. I'd go for it, show em what you got.

Nothing to lose to race them but I would be curious why they want to run you with a race car and not one of the street cars that they have?

Just race em....I heard some of the smack........If I remember, the other cobra guys were saying they didn't have tires.......speaking of, i need to start grinding my calipers.

To me, the only 'fair' race is one where both cars run the same ET's, then it's just driver skill & luck that hook & nothing breaks.

Hmm good luck, you will need it against that yellow mustange, it has seen some mid 8's hu, don't quote me on that but I thought it was deeper in the 8's than just a 8.90.

Hell I want to see you and the badbluess, line them up that would be one hell of a race if you ask me.
